Post 7 in My Truckalogue

3:30PM My Claim Adjuster called me just as she was opening my email message to her. I asked her to converse via email, but she wouldn't.  (Probably because they don't wan't anything they say in writing, where it could be used against them later.)  She said they didn't even have me off work yet. She said she would call Benefits Girl at work and get the details of when exactly I was taken off duty from AMX and call me back.

4:00pm Claim Adjuster did call me back and asked a few questions.  I don't remember the specific questions, but we talked several minutes. Conversation was something about the doctor I saw in CT; when I got home; how long I'd been out; when they came and got the truck, etc.

It was decided that I should be taken off work status on 1/5/09 because that's the date the doctor at American Family Care said I couldn't drive anymore - not until an MRI was done to determine whether or not I had a rotator cuff problem.

She said something I didn't understand about "4 days", and that she was turning my case over to...I think the department that determines what the pay/check/compensation should be. She said somebody would call me tomorrow, and that if I didn't hear from anybody towards the end of the day, to call her.
